Kaminski Pew is an award-winning architecture and interior design studio based in Philadelphia. Founded by husband-and-wife team Kevin Kaminski, AIA, and Alexis Pew, Allied ASID, the firm specializes in high-end residential architecture and interior design, including renovations, restorations, additions, and new residences. By integrating architecture and interiors from the beginning of each project, Kaminski Pew creates cohesive homes shaped by proportion, materiality, light, craftsmanship, and detail.

Kevin Kaminski is a registered architect in Pennsylvania and a member of the American Institute of Architects. A graduate of Drexel University, he began his career with Philadelphia architecture firms including Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates and KieranTimberlake. His work is informed by a particular interest in renovation, adaptive reuse, and the relationship between historic structures and contemporary living. Alexis Pew, a fifth-generation Philadelphian, leads the studio’s interior design vision. She studied graphic design at James Madison University and earned a degree in Interior Design from Harcum College. Her work focuses on materiality, color, furnishings, and creating interiors that balance beauty, function, and comfort.

Kaminski Pew works through a collaborative design process that brings together architecture, interiors, builders, fabricators, artisans, and specialty consultants. The firm’s work has received recognition from the American Institute of Architects – Philadelphia, the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, the Urban Land Institute, and the American Society of Interior Designers. Architectural services include custom residential design, historic renovations, adaptive reuse, space planning, construction documentation, and permit and zoning coordination. Interior design services include interior architecture, custom millwork and cabinetry, kitchen design, material and finish selection, lighting, furniture, fabrics, rugs, art, and decorative objects. Kevin Kaminski and Alexis Pew work collaboratively across architecture and interiors so that structural decisions, architectural details, materials, furnishings, and styling support a unified design vision. The firm also collaborates closely with contractors, fabricators, artisans, and specialty consultants throughout construction and installation to maintain design intent and quality from the earliest concepts through the completed home.
