MT. AIRY CARRIAGE HOUSE
Nestled in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, this charming carriage house originally featured the kitchen on the second floor, accessible via a narrow spiral staircase at the entrance. The renovation transformed the entire first floor: the kitchen was moved to the main level, and a new turned staircase was added to connect to the upstairs family room. The powder bath and laundry room received fresh look, while the newly designed primary suite now includes a refreshed bathroom and spacious walk-in closet. Original details of the home were preserved and replicated, including beadboard paneling, tin ceiling, and egg-and-dart crown moulding.
